University of Calgary - Advanced Contract Award Notice / Notice of Proposed Procurement - X-Ray Fluorescence Microscope (XRF)

The University of Calgary intends to purchase a scientific ex-demonstration x-ray fluorescence microscope (XRF) XGT-9000 from Horiba that is required for research covering a diverse array of fields in critical minerals extraction, catalysis, cosmetics, energy materials and more. A system is required that has all the above technical capabilities to allow for general elemental analysis including Sodium, Fluorine and others. To the research team’s knowledge, this is the only supplier and distributor that can provide a system with required capabilities.
