Firing Valve ref: 5A188 s/n2 (Quantity 2) for Defence Research
and Development Canada - Valcartier, Quebec.
The firing valve quick opening must be acuated by an air
pressure and be acaptable to a complex ballistic system
launching projectiles at high velocities composed of multiple
guns using helium gas as the propellant. The facilities are now
functional and efficient with an aging firing valve that need to
must be replaced. For operational purposes, we cannont accept
that the new valve requires changes in existing configurations
of the set-up, according to detailed in Annex A of the RFP
specifications.
