Request for a Standing Offer(s) for the short term rental of
vehicles for 6 months or less without operators for the
Department of National Defence, CFSU Ottawa Transport Section,
on an "as and when requested basis", for a two year period with
the option to extend for one additional year.
The rental period will be daily, weekly or monthly.
The following lists the type of vehicles required and the
approximated quantities for the period 31 March 2011 to 31
December 2012.

Approximately 40% of the vehicles were rented on a daily basis,
50% on a weekly basis, and 10% on a monthly basis.
These vehicles will be used by multiple drivers in the Province
of Ontario and Quebec.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement
on Internal Trade (AIT).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
