This amendment 001 is raised to provide Questions and Answers
received from a Bidder:
Question #1:
the engine size on the 4 passenger is stated as shall be 1100
cc.yet on the 2 passenger it shall be 850 cc. our Polaris Diesel
UTV is 1028 cc there by meeting the one spec but not the other,
the second spec to look at would be the box capacity on the 2
passenger UTV is shall be 475 KG (1047 lb ) and on the 4
passenger is 290 KG (639 lb) while our Polaris units are both
453 KG or 1000 lbs a couple of other specs are also that our
units have a park in transmission not a brake , and we have a
electric dump actuator is available but not a hydraulic dump for
the boxes . The only other thing I saw was that on the two
passenger unit under seating is says FOUR (2) on page 6/9 .
Answer #1:
As specified, DND's requirement mentioned a minimum engine
displacement of 1100 cc, we will accept a minimum engine
displacement of 1028 cc for the 4 passenger.
DND's requirement mentioned: The box capacity on the 2 passenger
UTV, shall be 475 kg, we will accept a minimum carrying capacity
of 453 kg.
DND's requirement request for a 'Parking brake' we will accept a
'Transmission park'.
DND's requirement request for a 'Hydraulic Power dumping rear
cargo box' we will accept an 'electric dump actuator' and on the
PD, it says FOUR (2)passengers; it's a mistake; it should have
been read TWO (2) passengers. All others documents are right,
except this PD
