Ventilation Installation at Boston Bar Fire Hall 1
The Boston Bar Fire Hall 1, located at 47715 Alder Road, Boston Bar, BC, recently underwent indoor air quality testing which identified deficiencies in the building's ventilation within the fire apparatus bay. To address these concerns and improve workplace health and safety conditions, ventilation system upgrades are required.
The Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced proponents to supply, install, test, and commission an integrated ventilation system for the fire engine bay at Boston Bar Fire Hall 1. The proposed system must effectively improve air circulation and air quality within the apparatus bay, reduce exhaust contaminant exposure, and meet all applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer recommendations.
