This requirement is for a complete In Car Digital Video System
(ICDVS) to be installed in various vehicles used by the Royal
Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) throughout Nova Scotia. This
specification includes the Camera, Recorder, Control Panel,
Microphones, Monitor, and all other ancillary components.
The technical parameters contained within the solicitation
document represent minimum performance requirements. This
specification is written with the intent of procuring standard
production equipment aligned with existing vehicle
configurations to reduce training, maintenance, and installation
costs.
All proposed ICDVS systems must be in current production and
generally available on the market (no beta test components will
be considered).
This procurement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods.
All inquiries are to be forwarded to the Contracting Officer in

(7) calendar days before the bid closing date.
