Rations and Quarters
Title: Provision of rations and quarters for Air Cadet Power
Pilot Scholarship (PPS) program at the Pacific Flying Club and
Coastal Pacific Aviation.
Objective:
The objective is to provide rations and quarters for twenty-four
(24) Air Cadets and four (4) adult supervisors within a vicinity
of 60 kms from both of the two airports Boundary Bay Airport and
the Abbotsford Airport for the duration of the Power Pilot
Scholarship (PPS) program.
Background:
The DND Air Cadet program provides the opportunity to train
select Air Cadets in the skills to acquire a Transport Canada
private pilot licence. One of the contract schools is the
Pacific Flying Club situated at
Boundary Bay Airport, Unit 4 - 4335 Skeena Street, Delta, BC,
Canada V4K 0A6; and the other contract school is Coastal Pacific
Aviation at Abbotsford Airport, 30575 Approach Drive, Abbotsford
BC V2T 6H5.
The contractor shall provide accommodations for twenty-four (24)
cadets and four (4) adult supervisory staff. Rations to include
breakfast, lunch, supper meals daily, an evening snack and box
lunches if required. Meals are required as follows:
June 26 to August 12, 2014 inclusive: Breakfast, lunch and
supper for four (4) staff members for 49 days.
June 28 to August 12, 2014 inclusive: Breakfast, lunch and
supper for twenty-four (24) cadet students for 47 days.
Breakfast only for all 28 personnel, August 13, 2014.
Duration:
The period for this requirement is June 26 - August 13, 2014.
Additionally, the option of extending individual rations and
quarters for a one week period from August 14 to 20 August 2014
to accommodate any unforeseen delays in the training program.
