Descriptive Title: Travel Document Reading equipment and
software

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf
of Passport Canada (the Client), has a requirement for the
supply and delivery of 240 Travel Document Readers, including
software, documentation and, the provision of 1-year,
return-to-depot warranty/maintenance services.

There is also an option to buy 80 additional Travel Document
Readers within 24 months after the Contract award, as well as to
extend the warranty/maintenance period by 2 one-year periods.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-Chile
Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA), the Canada-Peru Free Trade
Agreement (CPFTA), the Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement
(CColFTA), the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement (CPanFTA) if
it is in force, and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
