SUMMARY
The Statement of Work is as follows:
a. Refurbish a Titan 280 Patrol Cabin Rigid-Hulled Inflatable
Boat (RHIB) for Environment Canada in accordance with the
Requirement at Annex A and Project Management Services at Annex
H. For specifications, drawings, and Pricing Data Sheets,
bidders are requested to contact the Contracting Authority
identified in the bid solicitation.
b. To carry out any approved unscheduled work not covered in
paragraph a. above.

BIDDERS' CONFERENCE
A Bidders' Conference will be held at Pacific Biological
Station, Hammond Bay Road, Nanaimo, BC on Thursday, 22 November
2012. The conference will begin at 1330. The scope of the
requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed
during the conference and questions will be answered. It is
recommended that bidders who intend to submit a 'bid attend'
e-mail to the Contracting Authority or send a representative. to
the Bidders' Conference. Bidders are requested to communicate
with the Contracting Authority before the conference to confirm
attendance. Bidders should provide, in writing, to the
Contracting Authority, the names of the person(s) who will be
attending and a list of issues they wish to table at least two
(2) working days before the scheduled conference.
Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting
from the Bidders' Conference will be included as an amendment to
the bid solicitation. Bidders who do not attend will not be
precluded from submitting a bid.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT - VESSEL
Arrangements have been made for a viewing of the vessel. The
viewing will take place on site, immediately following the
Bidder's Conference.

WORK PERIOD - MARINE
Work must commence and be completed as follows:
Commence: 03 December 2012;
Complete: 15 January 2013.

SOURCING STRATEGY
The sourcing strategy related to this work will be limited to
suppliers in Canada in accordance with Shipbuilding, Refit,
Repair and Modernization Policy (1996-12-19), subject to the
Agreement on Internal Trade. The work is exempt from the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), see Chapter Ten Annex
1001.2b Paragraph 1, and the World Trade Organization Agreement
on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP). See Annex 4.

procurement.
