Description of Work:
Provide the services of a programmer/analyst who will be working from Parks Canada's office in NCR and under the direction of the Maximo Project Manager and in collaboration with the software architect, who leads the technical design and development of the Parks Canada's Maximo Asset Management solution.
The work involves working under the direction of the Maximo Project Manager and in collaboration with the staff of the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) to ensure the final development of phase 2 of the project (inspections management applications), to address phase 1 (assets and work orders management applications) modification and enhancement requests, and phase 2 similar requests if there are, and to support the transition of the system maintenance and support from the consultants to Parks Canada’s system administrators.
The work also includes:
- The transfer of knowledge with the current programmer/analyst consultant on the solution developed by Parks Canada;
- Support related to IM/IT (software, infrastructure, network, database, etc.) with Shared Services Canada (SSC) and the system architect;
- Offer the maintenance and support of the development, training, testing and production environments, as well as in the data transfer from current databases and tools;
- Develop and implement new reports and data queries, extracts and uploads.
The work is currently being performed by Mindwire under contract (value $828,000.00) and TeamBuilder under contract (value $500,141.26)
