Parks Canada Agency, in Nunavut, has the requirement for the supply and delivery of two (2) new backcountry shelters in accordance with the specifications detailed herein. The Backcountry shelters must be simple, yet robust and sustainable. Issues affecting the design include remote locations, harsh climate (i.e. extreme cold and high winds in some locations), logistics of transport and assembly, costs and maintenance.
This procurement is subject to the following Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement: Agreement Between the Inuit of the Nunavut Settlement Area and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
DELIVERY DATE:
For Auyuittuq National Park, Qikiqtarjuaq, NU two (2) backcountry shelters: Delivery to be coordinated with the Project Authority and must be delivered to NRCan - PCSP - FEU 2464 Sheffield Rd, Ottawa, ON, K1B 4E5 on or before March 31, 2017.
