2021-07- 28 Amendment 001The purpose of this amendment is to respond to potential bidders' questions. See the document Q&A Q&R 1-2.------------------------------------------------------------By means of the RFP, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is seeking proposals from bidders to acquire airborne topo-bathymetric LiDAR data over the South Saskatchewan River, SK. This new data can be used for a variety of analysis, including hydrological and flood mapping analyses. The LiDAR data will also be used to create a high resolution digital elevation model of the area for the National Elevation Data Strategy. The Data Collection Area of Interest (DCAOI), totals 189.86 km² (152.87 linear km).The data must be collected between September 1st and October 31st 2021, inclusive, to ensure partial or total leaf absence, to avoid the presence of snow on the ground, as well as to maximize the area of water courses exposed during low-flow (dry season) conditions.
