Subject to this NPP, the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) intends to enter into an agreement with Core Laboratories for geomechanical testing and analysis. The AER deems Core Laboratories the uniquely qualified candidate to perform these services due to their leading-edge expertise in geomechanical testing, their ability to deliver quality and reliable data critical to subsurface assessments. They have also demonstrated their prior experience conducting advanced rock mechanics testing for similar high-stakes resource projects. Their established quality assurance protocols, state-of-the-art and relevant facilities, and expertise in working with crystalline basement lithologies make them an essential partner for this project.
This agreement will be for an initial term of one (1) year to ensure comprehensive coverage of the project scope, with an option to renew for additional two years term based on project needs and Core Lab’s performance.
