The Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) is seeking a qualified telecommunications provider to deliver and support Microsoft Teams Direct Routing voice services, including SIP trunking, DID services, number porting, E911 services, and managed SBC connectivity.
The proposed solution must integrate with AER's existing Microsoft Teams environment and provide a highly available, secure, and scalable voice platform capable of supporting approximately 1,994 users. AER is seeking a fully managed implementation, end-to-end Teams voice solution. This includes all configuration, deployment, integration, testing, ongoing operations, and support across Microsoft Teams tenant configuration, SBCs, SIP, PSTN, numbering, porting, emergency calling, failover, and troubleshooting.
AER intends to select a vendor capable of providing solution, full implementation services, and ongoing support. Respondents are expected to review the RFP in its entirety, clearly articulate how their proposed solution meets the stated objectives, reference applicable section numbers in their responses, and ensure their submissions are complete and consistent across both technical and commercial (pricing) components.
