Location:

Work Description:
Work under this Contract covers work within the new PRV and
Rechlorination Chamber. Work to be performed under this
Contract includes supply and installation of a new
pre-fabricated metal building on a concrete slab, containing a
new Pressure Reducing Valve system and chlorination system. All
associated site works including installation of new watermains
to tie the new PRV / Rechlorination building into the existing
infrastructure, site grading to ensure positive drainage away
from the building, electrical conduit installation and remedial
site works such as topsoil and seed. Alarms will be installed
within the building to warn of dangerous conditions or
conditions which require attention. A full HVAC system will
also be installed as part of the project including DDC controls
and instrumentation.

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
be completed within twelve (12) weeks.

Site Visit Date:
A site visit has been scheduled for 10th July 2013 @ 10:00 AM
PDST. Contractors are to meet at the PWGSC site office at 6000
William Head Road, Metchosin, BC. Contractors are to note that
this is not a mandatory site visit and is optional. However, it
is recommended that contractors visit the site prior to closing.

All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which meets
WCB standards, for all site visits including a tender site
visit. No cameras, cell phones (of any type) or laptop
computers are allowed into institutions at any time.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between
$275,000.00 - $350,000.00.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
tender (solicitation) documents through the MERX service
provider. Addenda, when issued will be available from the MERX
service provider. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender
(solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at
their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the
tender calling authority of their intention to bid. In all
cases, bidders must indicate (when requested) in the space
provided on the tender form the identification number (s) of the
addenda, if any, that they have taken into consideration for
their bid.

public in English.
