Miscou Electrical Improvements
Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement
for the electrical improvements at Miscou, Gloucester County,
New Brunswick. The work consists of, but is not limited to, the
following:
The removal of electrical services such as
wires/cables/conduit/receptacle outlets, removal of damaged
timbers guards and temporary removal of water lines and any
other services to allow for new work.
The removal of existing asphalt and concrete deck slabs and the
excavation of sandstone fill from behind Berlin Wall and SSP
structures.
Disposal of existing backfill material to containment cell or
adjacent sandstone fill.
Supply and installation of granular fill materials, filter
fabric, concrete and asphalt pavement as shown on drawings.
Construction of a concrete pad for electrical equipment as shown
on drawings.
Supply and install new electrical conduits, wires, lights and
equipment as shown on drawing and described in Section 26 05 00
of the Specifications
All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and
specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.062563.001 forming
part of the bid document. The contract completion is
thirty-seven (37) weeks after contract award.
New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications
included in the solicitation documents requires attention.
A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit,
Room 421, 189 Prince William Street, Saint John, N.B.
The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following
category: $500,001 - $1,000,000 (HST extra). Standard bid and
contract security for construction is required.
