Harbour Development - Phase II - Arnold's Cove, NL
Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement
for Harbour Development - Phase II, at Arnolds Cove, NL. The
work will consist of but not limited to the following:
a) Complete removal of existing finger pier including the full
extraction of piles in their entirety,
b) Removal and relocation of items on adjacent wharf # 402,
c) Dredging of the existing seabed to facilitate placement of
rock mattress,
d) Construction of new treated timber crib and span finger pier
on rock mattress,
e) Construction of new treated timber marginal cribs on rock
mattress,
f) Construct new uplands area with granular topping and
g) Install new electrical upgrades.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. It is recommended that bidders visit the site and its
surroundings and verify the form, nature and extent of the work,
the means to access the site, severity, exposure and
uncertainity of weather, soil conditions and in general obtain
all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other
circumstances prior to submitting bid.
2. Bidders must refer to Section 01 35 28 - Health and Safety
Requirements, Item 1.9, Project Site Conditions, of
specifications before performing any site inspection or
preliminary work at site.
Bidders must refer to GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS (GI) -
R2710T (2013-04-25) for the Code of Conduct and Certification
provisions applicable to this requirement.
