In order to meet Canada's legal obligations with respect to
refugees, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), Resettlement
Assistance Program (RAP) has a requirement for the supply and
delivery of miscellaneous household furniture to Government
Assisted Refugees within Southern Alberta (Calgary, Red Deer,
Lethbridge and Medicine Hat) on an as and when requested basis.
The period of the standing offer is for one year, from June 1,
2015 to May 31, 2016 with two additional option periods form
June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2017 and June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
