Request for Information
The Government of Canada has committed to improving ethical behaviours and preventing forced labour and child labour in federal procurement supply chains under the National Strategy to Combat Human Trafficking. Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), the principal purchaser of goods and services for the Government of Canada, is looking for an organization who can complete the first step in meeting this commitment; that is, conducting a risk analysis of forced labour and child labour in PSPC’s procurement supply chains.
PSPC is currently conducting a round of informal consultations to seek information about available expertise on the market which could meet its needs. Should this consultation and accompanying Statement of Work (SOW) be of interest, PSPC invites you to contact:
Sundos Al-Sayed
Contracting Authority

Email: S••••••••@••••••••.••.ca
Phone: (343) 542-9845
PSPC is seeking industry feedback on:
Industry interest in conducting the risk analysis
The clarity of the requirements as currently expressed in the SOW
The expertise and experience needed to complete the risk analysis as described in the SOW
The associated timelines for completing the work
Questions or comments on the SOW or security requirements to conduct the work
This information will help us ensure that the solution-based Request for Proposals (RFP) we are preparing is realistic and reasonable.
PSPC reserves the right to make additional revisions to the SOW before the formal solution-based RFP is launched.
The Crown affirms that this Request for Information is not a solicitation. No commitment is made, whatsoever, with respect to future solicitations, purchases or contracts.
