1. Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN)

If no supplier submits a statement of capabilities that meets the requirements set out in the ACAN, on or before the closing date stated in the ACAN, the contracting officer may then proceed with the award to the pre-identified supplier.

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of its client, Canada Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), intends to enter into a Contract with Videometer A/S for the supply, delivery, installation, and training of a seed testing system that uses multi-spectrum technology and computer vision: the VideometerLab 4 is a spectral imaging instrument designed for automated or semi-automated determination of surface texture, morphological features and chemical composition of seeds for purity testing.
3. Criteria for assessment of the Statement of Capabilities
Suppliers who consider themselves fully qualified and available to provide the goods in this ACAN may submit a Statement of Capabilities in writing to the contact person identified in this notice on or before the closing date of this notice.
