Nature of Requirements:
The National Research Council Canada (NRC) wishes to acquire a Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer
(STA) (referred to herein as ?the system?) for the characterization of construction materials. The system must simultaneously perform Thermogravimetric (TG, TGA) and Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) or Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) to the same sample in one system. The instrument must be compatible with any construction materials of various sizes and capable of operating under both aerobic and inert conditions.
