Description of the requirement:
The purpose of this contract is to conduct a review of best practices with respect to the movement and operations of vessels that carry Liquid Natural Gas (LNG), in various areas such as the United States, Australia and Europe, provide analysis on the applicability of those practices at the port of Kitimat, British Columbia (B.C.), and provide Transport Canada (TC) recommendations with respect to specific provisions to be incorporated into TC’s, “Practices and Procedures for Public Ports” thatneed to be amended to support the designation of Kitimat as a public port.
Proposed period of contract:
The proposed initial period of contract shall be from contract award to December 31, 2016 for an estimated 50 days.
