Full description

The objective of this assignment is to fulfill an immediate operational need for an Enterprise Architect in the Information and Innovation Solutions (IIS) division, the information management and technology group within the Common Administrative Services Directorate (CASD). IIS provides services to both the Natural Sciences and Engineering research Council (NSERC) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
 A key objective of this assignment is to establish/develop an architectural roadmap that takes into consideration:

The current state of the Agencies application portfolio and associated technology stack;
The future direction of the Government of Canada (particularly in the area of Information Technology);
Recommends an appropriate path forward;
Identifies and defines strategies and plans for short, medium and long term goals.
