Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Pacific Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority.
Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Department of Fisheries and Oceans requires a fully functional Automated Submersible Imaging Flow Cytometer. It is mandatory that the successful Contractor must supply and deliver all equipment, accessories and materials necessary for a fully functional system. Any materials and equipment necessary for the proper operation of the system not specified or described shall be deemed as part of the specification.
Any technological upgrades, such as new software versions, system ROM, firmware upgrades, etc, that are released after the system is ordered but before delivery and acceptance, shall be included at no charge. The cost(s) of any items(s) omitted from the quote that are required to meet system requirements and specifications as descried herein, are to be the sole responsibility of the bidder.
All prices must be in Canadian Funds, Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) (Institute of Ocean Sciences, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, 9860 West Saanich Road, Sidney, BC V8L 4B2) Incoterms 2000, inclusive of all delivery costs, customs and duty charges, and applicable sales tax are extra.
Demo or refurbished units will not be considered.
There are no security requirements associated with this requirement.
All the deliverables must be received on or before August 31, 2021.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
