The Guelph Food Research Centre, Agriculture and Agri-Food
Canada has a requirement to purchase a new ultra high
performance liquid chromatography (U-HPLC) instrument.
The period of the contract is from date of contract award to
March 28, 2015.
Firm Requirement
All deliverables must be received on or before March 28, 2014.
Optional Requirement
The period of the extended service agreement is for a period of
one (1) year from date of expiration of standard warranty.
Option to Extend the Contract
The Contractor must provide, if requested, an optional Service
Agreement for the U-HPLC for a period of one year beginning at
the expiration of the standard warranty. Agreement to include
at a minimum all parts, labour and travel.
The proposed bidders must meet all mandatory criteria detailed
in the Request for Proposal document.
Some of the mandatory criteria are provided below. Refer to the
Request for Proposal for the complete list.
The minimum requirements for the U-HPLC instrument are:
(i) A quaternary solvent delivery system;
(ii) A photo diode array detector;
(iii) A thermostatted autosampler;
(iv) A thermostatted column compartment.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
