The Department of National Defence has a requirement for a
portable dental X-ray machine. Public Works and Government
Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of the Department of National
Defence (DND) intends to establish a method of supply for a
portable dental X-ray machine. This x-ray machine will be used
in various extreme environments, (damp, dusty, hot, cold, uneven
terrain, etc.).
The intent of this Letter of Interest (LOI) is to solicit market
information on product availability of portable dental x-ray
machines to meet the preliminary set of specifications as well
as to determine industry interest in submitting a bid proposal.
Suppliers are requested to submit information which would
demonstrate how their product might meet or exceed requirements
as detailed herein.
This is not a bid solicitation. A contract will not result from
this activity. This LOI is for informational purposes only and
does not constitute a commitment by Canada. Responses to this
LOI will not constitute a commitment from the industry provider.
The Government of Canada will not reimburse any expenses
incurred for the preparation of responses to this LOI.
There will be no short listing of firms for purposes of
undertaking any future work, or the issuance of a standing
offer, as a result of this request. Similarly, participation in
this Request for Information is not a condition or prerequisite
for participation in any subsequent RFP and, or RFSO.
