Nature of Requirements:
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) has a requirement for the provision of Philips GreenPower Light Emitting Diode (LED) Toplighting fixtures that have identical characteristics to fixtures currently in use supporting the Greenhouse Research Program at the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Harrow Research and Development Centre. Please see Annex "A" of the solicitation for further detail.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). AAFC is using limited tendering procedures, as allowed under NAFTA Article 1016.2 (b) and (d) and AIT Article 506, paragraph 12.(a) and 12.(b), to meet the requirement.
