Description of requirement:
The Department of Finance Canada requires the services of an Operations Support Specialist Level 3 Resource to assist the IT Business Solution team in the deployment of new application software and maintenance of existing application software.
The Department of Finance has approximately 100 Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and custom applications. These applications are Web-based, Client-Server or desktop applications. The IT Business Solution team is responsible for packaging, maintaining, supporting, testing and deploying these applications to end-users. There are approximately 1000 end-users in the Department.
These applications are installed on 2 distinct networks: a segregated network and a Protected-B network.
Proposed period of contract:
The initial contract period will be from April 1, 2017 until March 31, 2018.
Request for Proposal (RFP) documents will be e-mailed directly, from the Contracting Officer, to the Qualified Supply Arrangement Holders who are being invited to bid on this requirement.
