Description of Work:
The CRTC requires the services of a firm to consolidate the CRTC’s music database, Digital Transformation and Metadata Normalization.
The Broadcasting Sector of the CRTC requires a Contractor to assist in reducing the regulatory burden on radio stations, facilitate the monitoring for both the broadcasters and the CRTC by transforming its analog monitoring process to a fully digital process.
This will occur through the development and implementation of a digital radio monitoring system which will process the collection of data and metadata, processing and validation.
The Contractor will assist in building a music database that will be authoritative and serve in part as a reference to the industry and the Canadian public via the Open Data Government of Canada website.
Be built according to the Digital by Design concept respecting Government of Canada’s Digital Standards.
The work is currently not being performed by a contracted resource
