Site Remediation - DFO Light Station - Powles Head, NL
Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement
for Site Remediation at the DFO Light Station in Powles Head,
NL. Work under this contract involves the removal and disposal
of petroleum contaminated soils, access road repairs,
backfilling the site with imported material, as well as grading
and sodding of the site.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
It is recommended that the Bidder or an authorized
representative visit the site to familiarize themselves with all
existing conditions as they apply to the Scope of Work. All
individuals planning to visit the site are required to provide
their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The PPE shall
include as a minimum safety glasses, safety boots and safety
hats.
IMPORTANT NOTE TO BIDDERS:
Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms and
special instructions which are now available directly from the
MERX site.
Drawings and Specifications are available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Bidders should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.
It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that all
addenda issued prior to bid closing have been obtained and
addressed in the submitted bid.
Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are
incorporated by reference into, and form part of, the bid and
