The Bear Creek Forest Clearing Area has been used as an informal dumping site by unknown parties, resulting in the accumulation of significant refuse, debris, and abandoned vehicle material. The District, through Northern Municipal Services, requires a qualified contractor to remove all solid waste material, arrange for the lawful disposal or salvage of abandoned vehicles and vehicle parts, restore the site to a clean and safe condition, and construct an earthen or rock berm at the site entrance to prevent future unauthorized access and dumping.
