The specialized services to be provided to CCG with estimated 220 days for Database Analyst/IM Administrator Stream 3 Level 3, ERP System Analyst Stream 1 level 2, and ERP Technical Analyst Stream 1 Level 2 and for estimated 110 days for ERP functional Analyst Stream 1 level 2 and Quality Assurance Stream 5 level 1 on an “as and when required” basis independently using a task authorization (TA) format are:

Description of the requirement:
The Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Canadian Coast Guard (DFO/CCG) has implemented Maximo as part of a single national Asset Management System (AMS). Maximo provides information related to maintenance activities including estimated and actual maintenance costs, inventory, maintenance history, maintenance schedules, and forecasting.
Maximo is integrated on the desktop with other corporate systems and with desktop tools. Integration at the desktop provides a common user interface for tools used by CCG personnel, and was developed to provide access to information from other corporate systems such as the departmental financial system (Oracle Financials) and the departmental human resources system (Peoplesoft).
The current asset system has been built using commercial off-the-shelf software (COTS) from IBM called Maximo. Some custom interfaces or conversion tools have been added. Further enhancement, upgrading, configuration and troubleshooting of both the application and the database instances will be required. Ongoing in-service support is required.
The Maximo application was delivered to Canadian Coast Guard land sites on 28 November 2001 via the Maintenance Information Management System (MIMS) Project. It was deployed to selected vessels and to additional vessels has taken place since the initial delivery.
The purpose of this statement of work has been developed for the purpose of putting in place a single support contract in order to obtain the specific professional services required to assist the Integrated Technical Services Directorate (ITS) of DFO/CCG in supporting the Maximo application and its users.
Anticipated Level of Effort:
The work effort to be provided to CCG will not exceed estimated 220 days a year basis and be requested using task authorization (TA) on an “as and when requested” basis for the following:
