Gros Morne National Park operates five (5) campgrounds at Shallow Bay, Berry Hill, Green Point, Lomond and Trout River. The camping pads at each campground are provided with a burning wood stove, campers are provided the opportunity to purchase wood from the campground attend
ants for use in the wood burning units. Parks Canada has no accessible
supply of wood and has chosen to go to theprivate sector to supply, package, deliver and distribute the wood.
Public Works and Government Services Canada will establish a Regional Individual Standing Offer to supply and deliver pre-packaged, pre-cut dry seasoned firewood to Gros Morne NationalPark on an 'as and when' required basis from 1 May 2016 to 30 September 2016.
