Nature of Requirements:
National Research council Canada, ASPM Material Management, has a requirement for two (2) Collaborative industrial robotics arms (P/N UR10E-SPE) and two (2) Hand Gripper Kits, (P/N AGC-ES-UR-KIT-140) for those arms.
Must be delivered to Ottawa, Ontario no later than March 29, 2019.
For this procurement, there is limited tendering because NRC is not in a position to accept an equivalent offerings for reasons of compatibility of data, software and hardware platform and interchangeability constraints. There is only a limited number of Authorized Distributors in Canada and United States.
The following trade agreements are applicable and complied with in accordance with the articles listed below:

2. The goods can be supplied only by a particular supplier and no reasonable alternative or substitute goods exist for the following reasons:
ii. the protection of patents, copyrights, or other exclusive rights;
v. to ensure compatibility with existing goods, or to maintain specialized goods that must be maintained by the manufacturer of those goods or its representative.
