Scope of Work
The work encompasses two buildings WW02 and WW03 at the
Warkworth Institution.
Pre-demolition work - move furniture from WW03 to temporary
storage and reinstate back to WW03 after substantial
completion. Demolition and asbestos abatement in Building WW03
in existing the lower false ceiling, and existing upper asbestos
ceiling. The abatement of existing asbestos flooring tile.
Partial removal of existing ducts to suit new HVAC system;
Architectural- Reinstate both the ceiling and flooring finish.
Partially fill in existing underground floor ducting with
concrete ;
Mechanical - Removal of existing HVAC and installation of new
HVAC system; and
Electrical - Rework and replace electrical as required to adapt
to new ceiling.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
An Optional site visit will be held on 11 December 2013 at 1:00
PM. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit.
Interested contractors, please contact the Contracting Officer,

the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend prior to the site
visit. Interested bidders are to meet at the site,Warkworth
Institution, County Road 29, P.O.Box 60, Campbellford, On K0L
1L0.
Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders
who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an
alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from
submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid
solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as
an amendment to the bid solicitation.
Closing date: 16 January 2014, 14:00 HOURS.

The duration of work is schedule to be completed within 30 weeks
from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a
complete list of names of all individuals who are currently
directors of the Bidder. If such a list has not been received
by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will
inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the
information. Failure to provide such a list within the required
time frame will render the bid non-responsive. Bidders must
always submit the list of directors before contract award.

BIDDER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS. (SEE APPENDIX 2 OF THE "ITT"
DOCUMENT)
Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.
