Notice of Proposed Procurement
Item Required: Felt Hats
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a firm quantity of 234 felt hats of various sizes.
In addition, there is an “as and when requested” quantity of up to 10 specials (hats which are made-to-measure). These specials can be ordered within 36 months of contract award.
This requirement also includes an “as and when requested” quantity of up to 100 regular sized hats (flexible stock), which can be ordered within 24 months of contract award.
All quantities are to be delivered to Ottawa, Ontario. Firm quantities are to be delivered 45 days following approval of the pre-production samples.
This requirement is to be supplied in accordance with RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-070 dated 2013-07-10 and viewing sample. This requirement is also to be supplied in accordance with RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-051 dated 2013-07-10 and viewing sample. Specification documents can be found attached to the RFP.
The RCMP Viewing Sample will only be available to bidders requested to submit a pre-award sample.
This requirement is subject to AIT but is exempt from NAFTA and WTO-AGP, FSC-84.
This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian Goods.
The successful bidder will be determined based upon the lowest priced, technically compliant proposal.
There is no Government Available Material (GAM) for this requirement.
The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
