Set-aside for Aboriginal Business
This procurement is set aside under the federal government's
Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business, as detailed in
Annex 9.4 Requirements for the Set-aside Program for Aboriginal
Business, of the Supply Manual.
This procurement is set aside from the international trade
agreements under the provision each has for set-asides for small
and minority businesses.
Further to Article 1802 of the Agreement on Internal Trade
(AIT), AIT does not apply to this procurement.
Requirement
The Department of National Defence has a requirement to purchase
one (1) Forklift truck, 4x4, Diesel Engine Driven, and ancillary
items, including familiarization instruction/training, in
accordance with the Purchase Description Forklift Trucks, 4X4,
Diesel Engine Driven, Sit Down Rider, dated September 17, 2012,
and as described at Annex A - Pricing.

The requirement includes an option to purchase up to two (2)
Forklift truck, 4x4, Diesel Engine Driven and ancillary items to
be exercised within twelve (12) months from the effective date
of the contract.
Debriefings
After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the
results of the bid solicitation. Bidders should make the request
to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of
receipt of notification that their bid was unsuccessful. The
debriefing may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
