Replacing the engines gives the City 5 year warranty, quicker timeline getting back online, and any Mercery dealer in Canada can service the engine, unlike the engine we have now which can only be serviced in one place in Alberta.
The recommendation was brought to the CAO and approved to replace the engiens with the new Mercury Engines
