The Department of National Defence (DND), through the Canadian Multi-Mission Aircraft (CMMA) Project, requires the design, manufacture, and delivery of a clean room facility to serve as an interim Composite Repair Shelter at 14 Air Maintenance Squadron (14 AMS), 14 Wing Greenwood, Nova Scotia. The shelter will be installed within Hangar 10, which has existing temperature-control capabilities, and will remain in service until the construction of the new CMMA hangar. The Composite Repair Shelter will support aircraft composite repair activities, including the application and curing of adhesives, bonds, lacquers, and resins used on composite materials such as carbon fibre, fiberglass, and aramid fibre. Limited quantities of solvents, including acetone, methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK), and methyl propyl ketone (MPK), will be used during repair operations.
