Background:
In response to the NEB’s strategic priority of “Engaging with Canadians”, the NEB will be using state-of-the-art interactive visualizations to share data with Canadians. Visualizing data in an interactive and accessible way will place the NEB in a leadership role and will aid the NEB’s communication of pipeline and energy data to: facilitate decision and policy making, increase energy literacy, and increase transparency of NEB data.
Description
The NEB would like to retain the services of a contractor capable of assisting the National Energy Board (NEB) with its objective to deliver new data visualizations and implement improvements to the existing Exploring Canada’s Energy Future data visualizations through their development and maintenance of the computer coding necessary for visualizations. The contractor would provide the technical expertise and ability to develop code and deploy to the NEB web environment.
Period of the Contract:
The term of the contract will be from the effective date of the contract to March 31st, 2017. In addition, the bidder will grant to the National Energy Board two (2) irrevocable options to extend the original term of the contract. The option is for two (2) additional one (1) year periods under the same terms and conditions and at the rates specified in the contract.
