Description of Work:
The Information Systems Branch (ISB) of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC/) has a requirement for the provision of specialized IT professional services, on an “as and when requested” basis in the National Capital Region (NCR), to provide development expertize for the IBM Cognos suite of Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
Professional services are required to support and develop on the departmental priorities, including but not limited to the development of new reports and maintenance of existing reports for CCS and PSDS developed applications. Current applications use the IBM Cognos suite of tools for reporting including but not limited to Report and Analysis Studios. Additionally, IBM Cognos BI is the departmental standard as well as in the Department’s technology roadmap. CCS and PSDS developed applications include but are not limited to:
Agri-Share,
BCSS/ Agri-Recovery,
Advance Payment Program
Advancing Canadian Agriculture and Agri-Food System,
Agreement Registry Database,
Animal Industries Market Information System,
Advance Payments Program Electronic Delivery System,
InfoHort,
Minor Use Pesticide Programs System,
Science Management Systems – Integrated Reporting
Production Insurance National Statistical System, and
Canadian Agricultural Adaptation Program.
-The work is currently being performed by Equasion with a contract value of up to 2 million, including HST.
