SCOPE OF WORK / DELIVERABLES
Work under this Contract includes but is not limited to the provision of all labour, materials, and equipment required to:
Mobilize to site with a work barge of appropriate size and certification;
Design and install two [2] foundations for the aids to navigation sites;
Install two [2] new pipe masts on the new foundations;
Remove existing pipe masts, foundations and abandoned foundations;
Demobilize from site.
The following work will be undertaken by others and is hereby excluded:
Supply of replacement towers, complete with fall arrest system; and
Supply of self-contained lanterns for the aids to navigations;
EXPECTED START AND COMPLETION DATES
The services of the Contractor will be commencing upon award of the contract. The expected completion date of this project is November 1, 2017.
Important Scheduling and Completion dates are as such:
The geotechnical report and preliminary foundation design shall be complete by July 28th , 2017.
Final Foundation design package shall be complete by August 31st, 2017.
Construction work shall be completed no later than November 1st, 2017, unless otherwise negotiated and approved in writing.
Question and Answer period: DFO will accept questions from Bidders until Wednesday, July 12th 2017. These are to be sent directly and only to the contracting Officer listed below.
