Cryostorage Freezer
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada has a requirement for a temperature controlled liquid nitrogen cryostorage freezer with safety features and alarms. The freezer must be high efficiency and have maximum storage density providing high security for stored samples. The freezer must also be able to hold a -190C storage temperature, have a defog switch and have automated fill and level monitoring. The requirement includes all of the following:
1. A cryostorage freezer, all hardware, and all accessories and power supply;
2. Installation of the cryostorage freezer, at the Ottawa Research and Development Centre in Ottawa, ON;
3. Two year warranty including on-site Verification, Calibration, Repair and Maintenance Services;
4. On-site training at the Ottawa Research and Development Centre in Ottawa, ON;
5. Operating and training manuals;
6. A full complement of square racks of the two sizes to completely fill each freezer as follows:
(i) 12 of Rack type 1 = 5 1/4" X 5 1/4" by 26"; and
(ii) 4 of Rack type 2= 3"X3"x26".; and
7. The irrevocable option to purchase additional freezers
