Public Works and Government Services Canada on behalf of the
Department of National Defence requires one (1) Regional
Individual Standing Offer for Grass Cutting in various
Locations, CFB Halifax, Nova Scotia on an "as and when
requested, in accordance with the plans and specifications
specified in Annex A herein.
Work under this Standing Offer comprises the furnishings of all
labour, material, equipment, tools and supervision required for
cutting, and cleaning up grass, weeds, etc in the identified
areas of Windsor Park, Willow Park, HMC Dockyard, Stadacona, and
Royal Artillery Park or CFB Halifax as specified in Annex A
herein and as shown on enclosed drawnings specified in Annex A
herein.
The period for making call-ups against the Standing Offer is
from one (1) year from date of award.
Site Visit:
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on Wednesday
June 13th, 2012, at 9:30am in front of the Canex Store located
on Windsor Street in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Site visit will also
include Stadacona, Dockyard, and the Royal Artillery Park.
Please allow about 2 hours to see all sites. Bidders may be
requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend
or send a representative will not be given an alternative
appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a
bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation
resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment
to the bid solicitation.

This requirement is subject to Agreement on Internal Trade
(AIT), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Canada-Chile
Free Trade Agreement, Canada-Columbia Free Trade Agreement, and
the Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement.
