The JCSC, CSA’s headquarters, located at 6767 route de l'Aéroport in Saint-Hubert, Quebec, is a 30,000m2 building spread over three floors plus a mechanical shed. It was built in the early 1990s. Over the years, it has undergone numerous interior transformations, a temporary annex and a few small independent buildings were added to meet the CSA's operational needs. The building is in operation 24/7 and must ensure high electrical and mechanical reliability. It is equipped with several ventilation systems such as double ducts with high velocity, a thermal power plant with steam and hot water boilers, centrifugal refrigeration units, pre-action and Vesda fire protection systems, an electrical distribution network connected to generators and several uninterrupted static power systems.
