Scope of Work
The Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying (OCL) deployed GCDocs in 2012 along with two other Government of Canada (GC) organizations as part of the initial GC deployment to manage digital information of business and archival value. The software was configured based on a basic set of rules established by Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS), known as the Information Management Common Core (IMCC) - the gold standard build for all GC Electronic Documents and Records Management Solutions (EDRMS). There is currently limited access to functional information management expertise at the OCL.
The OCL requires an Information/Records Management/Recordkeeping Specialist that specializes in GCDocs (OpenText Content Server) to implement proper retention and disposition, record series identifiers (RSI), as well as a file classification structure that aligns with the IMCC.
The objective is to obtain the services of one (1) or more Information/Records Management/Recordkeeping Specialist that specializes in GCDocs (OpenText Content Server) to implement best practices with regard to retention and disposition, record series identifiers (RSI), as well a file classification structure. The contractor will be provided with all reference material and recent work done with regard to alignment with the IMCC and any other information necessary to assist in the completion of their tasks.
The project will involve the OCL’s current hosted Application Service Provider (ASP) GCDocs build (OpenText Content Server 16.+) and its underlying processes and functions.
