Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf
of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) E Division Stores in
Chilliwack, British Columbia, have a requirement to purchase
Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) Units with the capacity
to respond to cardiovascular emergencies.
The device required is the HeartSine Samaritan PAD 300P (renamed
HeartSine Samaritan PAD 350P),
or an Equivalent AED unit.
The successful Contractor must be responsible for the supply,
and delivery of eighty (80) AED units plus an optional amount of
units in a second year. A Contractor who supplies an equivalent
unit must also supply five (5) AED training units and provide
fifteen (15) AED Familarization Training sessions since RCMP
officers have previously been trained using the HeartSine
Samaritan PAD 300P.
