REQUEST FOR INFORMATION AS TO THE AVAILABILITY OF OFFICE SPACE
FOR LEASE IN THE RURAL COMMUNITIES OF CARMAN, ROSEBANK, ROLAND
AND MORDEN, MANITOBA

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is seeking
information for the possible lease of space that meets the
following criteria:
(A) Lease components
A lease term of seven (7) years, commencing on or about October
1, 2013, plus one (1) option to extend the lease for one (1)
additional period of three (3) years; with the amount of space
equal to approximately 309 usable square metres (um2) of
contiguous office space with an outdoor storage area which shall
allow for a 12' X 14' (approximately) storage shed, and eleven
(11) energized parking spaces; and available at least twenty-six
(26) weeks prior to the above-noted commencement date so all
spaces may be prepared for occupancy. The office component of
the leased premises must be located on the main floor of the
building being offered and cannot be directly adjacent to any
food establishments.
Only buildings or sites within the communities of Carman,
Rosebank, Roland and Morden will be considered. PWGSC may wish
to visit or inspect the premises upon reasonable notice. PWGSC's
Standards for Leased Accommodation apply; a copy may be obtained
through the contact person listed below.
(B) Physical characteristics
The physical characteristics of the lands, building, area and
environment surrounding it, including neighbouring land uses,
must be compatible with the lessee's intended use of the
accommodation, and the space proposed must be in a good quality
building-all as determined strictly in the lessee's sole
discretion.

(D) Response Required by:
Responses to this Request for Information are required by May
22, 2012.
(E) Information provided by the owner or an owner's agent
Information provided by the owner or by the owner's agent shall
include the location of the building, current zoning, specific
location of space within the building, area of space and details
pertaining to the above-noted requirement and private/public
parking facilities. Agents submitting a response to this Request
for Information shall provide PWGSC with a letter from the owner
authorizing them to do so. Please indicate File No. 523027.
(F) Security requirement
For this potential lease project or for any other leases, the
building owner must obtain the required security screening level
"RELIABILITY" from the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate
(CISD) of PWGSC prior to the offer. All parties interested in
this potential lease project are invited to obtain a security
screening level in advance. Information regarding security
screening can be obtained on the website of the CISD/PWGSC at
http://ssi-iss.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca. Please contact the person

This is not a tender process, nor a request for proposals, but
only an inquiry as to the availability of space to lease. PWGSC
will not necessarily invite offers or lease any space. PWGSC
may issue an invitation to tender for this possible leasing
requirement or other leasing requirements based on information
it receives as a result of this advertisement or based on any
other information that may come to its attention prior to the
closing date of the tender; or it may invite offers by way of
public tender.
