The RCMP may issue an invitation to tender for this possible leasing requirement or other leasing requirements based on information it receives as a result of this advertisement or based on any other information that may come to its attention prior to the closing date of the RFI; or it may invite offers by way of public tender. The RCMP reserves the right to proceed with an invitation to Offer to Lease by inviting only parties deemed to most effectively meet specific operational, security and public safety requirements identified in the (RFI) process. The issuance of this RFI does not create an obligation for Canada and does not bind Canada legally or otherwise, to enter into any agreement or to accept or reject any suggestions.
No payment will be made by Canada for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of your response. Canada retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

DESCRIPTION:
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is seeking information on the availability of leased space of a minimum of 2200 m2 of heated warehouse-type space with a ceiling height of 8.5 m and an unobstructed space of 24 x 50 m. The ideal space would have several enclosed offices and classroom space spanning between two floors or mezzanine with connecting stairwells, men’s and women’s washrooms to accommodate 35 persons including showers, minimum of 35 exterior parking spaces, 24/7 direct access, one ground level 14-foot overhead garage door to allow drive-in access. Based on submissions there may be additional requirements to meet RCMP operational and security standards. The location must be within the greater Fredericton and Oromocto area and within 25 kms of the Fredericton HQ located at 1445 Regent Street or from CFB Gagetown 100 Broad Road Oromocto. Potential lease term of three years plus 2 x 1 year options to renew, commencing January 1, 2020. Proposed space must be available at least 3 months prior to the lease commencement date to prepare for occupancy.
