REQUIREMENT
Parks Canada Agency (PCA) is seeking to award multiple standing offers for the provision of all labour, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, signal person and supervision necessary to rent cranes of various configurations, with operators, on an "as and when requested" basis to the Rideau Canal National Historic Site, Parks Canada. The work area covers the locks on the Rideau Canal System from the Kingston Mills Lock in Kingston to the Ottawa Locks on the Ottawa River.
PERIOD OF THE STANDING OFFER
The period for making call-ups against the Standing Offer is from issuance of Standing Offer to May 31, 2021, with a possibility of two additional one-year periods.
Offerors should note that there is no guarantee that the full or any amount of the Standing Offer will be called-up; PCA will award call-ups only when the specific services to be provided under the Standing Offer are needed.

Enquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) working days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer NOT being provided.
OTHER INFORMATION
National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
Offerors that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit offers should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Offerors that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
